Hi Pal.

Under The Lights
August gave us some fascinating releases and I’d be sharing 10 of my favourite albums and EPs from the month.
Rob Ray’s The Twilight Gospel is a wonderful album that blends indie pop and indie folk compositions with occasional funk and R&B elements. Singer-Songwriter, Amanda Opelt, dropped, A Hole In The World, an emotional folk EP that speaks about themes of grief and loss.
There Is One Gospel by CityAlight and This Is My Local by Local Sound are the indie/pop live worship album of the month. They are both unique in their own ways.
Norwegian DJ, Jesus Loves Electro, also dropped a nice Electropop/EDM EP titled Worship which has some interesting collaborations. Earlier in the month, Wes Harris & Sarah Nathalié also collaborated to give us an alternative R&B/Hip-Hop album titled Polaroids.
Children Of The Great Extinction by Becoming The Archetype is one of my most anticipated releases of the year and for the most part, it did not disappoint. As a concept album, this progressive metal/metalcore album is definitely a highlight for the year so far. On a different side of the music spectrum, Dear Gravity continues his prolific year by releasing an ambient EP that is already a favourite on my playlist called retreat.
Eleni Baker’s First and Last album is an interesting pop album with contemporary sensibilities while LOVKN’s Here’s to Second Chances is certainly one of the best folk-pop surprises of the year.

On The Horizon
Tenielle Neda: Back in April, Tenielle Neda announced an EP release. In the past four months, she has dropped four songs — one for each month — from the 6 track EP. I fully expect that we get the full EP in a couple of months.
Isla Vista Worship: Alongside their recent single, sing praise, Isla Vista Worship has announced a new EP titled simplicity which they would drop sometime before the end of the year.
That’s it for today.
See you soon!
