Hi Pal,
Today, we’re lending our ears to Mike Graff’s Dear Gravity. It’s a project that creates instrumental post-rock with ambient cinematic elements and sometimes slight electronica infusions. He describes his music as “ambient cinematic” because of its ability to be chill sometimes and expansive at others.1 He has a stacked discography, but for today, I am highlighting his 2019 album, I Hope This Letter Finds You Well. It’s a post-rock LP with interesting sonic elements that accentuate ethereal piano and droning guitar sounds. I’m also highlighting his 2021 album, Godspeed, as my favourite album by him and one of the best releases in the genre for the last decade.
